Voilà je vous souhaite une bonne journée et je recommanderai votre Agence;
Merci pour tout Arianna, votre gentillesse, votre écoute et votre organisation.
Bonne journée

I’m be happy to share a few lines of a review with you. You’ll find them below. Below that you will find a more detailed review that I thought you might find helpful. We thoroughly loved our trip…but, as you might imagine, some elements were more perfect than others and Rosie and I thought it would be helpful for you to know those details as you plan future trips for others. None of the feedback below should be seen as negative – we really did have a wonderful time, I’m just sending it to you because I know you worked so hard on the itinerary and we want you to have very specific feedback so that you know how each element hit the mark.
Review:
We had the trip of a lifetime thanks to the expert planning of Stefania and the team at 20 Regions of Italy Travel. We reached out because we were overwhelmed with planning our first ever trip to Italy and wanted to visit Rome, the Amalfi Coast, Tuscany, Venice, and Milan. From hotels, to tours, to local transportation not a detail was missed.
Of course all of the “must-do’s” in each of those places were built into our two week itinerary, but Stefania also found a number of off-the-beaten-path experiences for us which made the trip even more special and brought the local color to life more vividly. Thanks for sharing the beauty of Italy with us as well its warm hospitality, rich history, and culinary delights.
Rome
• Hotel: Great location, cool & modern hotel, friendly staff, very comfortable room.
• Tour Guide: Sonia was absolutely great. She was with us for the City Center tour, the tour of the Vatican Museums and St. Peter’s, and also for the tour of Colosseum and Ancient Rome. Her English was very good, she was very engaging, she seemed to know absolutely everything about Rome, and she was incredibly patient with my wife’s mobility challenges. Her English was very good and she had a quick sense of humor.
Amalfi Coast
• Hotel: La Minervetta was probably my favorite hotel that I have ever stayed in; such warm hospitality, gorgeous views, really interesting & engaging art everywhere you turn inside and outside the hotel, great & comfortable places to sit in the lobby and outdoor spaces, spacious & comfortable rooms (with magazine quality furnishings and artwork), phenomenal breakfast…we just can’t say enough. It was really sad to leave.
• Car Service: Gaetano and his team took very good care of us. We had Joseph for the drive from Naples to Sorrento, for the driving tour of the Amalfi Coast, and for our trip from Sorrento to the restaurant for lunch on Easter. He was engaging and knowledgable and his English was quite good. The other drivers who helped us from place to place were also great. Twice we had either Gaetano or his son…and they treated us like family, even giving us some Easter Bread that Gaetano’s wife had made so that we would have some home baked goods since we were away for Easter.
• Private Capri Boat Tour: We were sad to miss this, but totally understand that the weather is unpredictable. We were actually able to accomplish nearly the same thing through using the ferry and taking a boat tour of the caves once we got to Capri, so we felt like we didn’t lose that experience we were really hoping for.
• Gastronomic Tour: This was an absolute highlight of our entire trip. The family that runs the farm was delightful, each and every one of them. This experience gave us a real opportunity to understand the life of a local farming family. We loved touring the lemon farm, tasting fresh lemonade, getting tips on making limoncello, watching the making of the mozzarella, and tasting the various cheeses and olive oils. Capping the day off by making our own pizzas in a wood fired oven with different generations of the family was a real treat as well. We have friends going to Sorrento in May and we’ve told them to book this experience if they don’t do anything else!
Tuscany
• Lunch at Altarocca Wine Resort: You picked a winner here! We arrived a little early so we had the opportunity to walk around on the gorgeous property a bit. The lunch was spectacular and the wine was divine. My son talked them into selling him a bottle of the dessert wine which they don’t normally sell by the bottle as a surprise for my birthday. Would definitely recommend. This also looked like a lovely place to stay, by the way…though I have no idea whether it is located near anything of value to a tour.
• Hotel: in Cortona was a gorgeous property but was not our favorite hotel. Our room was spacious and very comfortable, including the outdoor furniture which boasted an incredible view of the rolling hills of Tuscany. The staff at the hotel was a bit too stuffy for us and you weren’t permitted to do anything spontaneously on the property. Even using the gym and Sauna required calling for a reservation. If you have guests who love incredibly high end experiences, though, they will love this place. The cocktails were some of the most gorgeous I have ever had and I think I have as many pictures of appointments in their dining room as I do of the Tuscany hills.
• Wine Tour: Our guide, Stefano, was awesome. Before hitting the wineries he took us to the quaint little town of Piensa which was a perfect start to the day. He then picked out the perfect wineries for our enjoyment. The one he chose for lunch was so quaint and, in my opinion, had better food and a richer dining experience than the Michelin star restaurant we had dinner in at Il Falconiere. Absolutely top notch. We thoroughly loved everything about this day. Stefano was so interesting to talk to and the wines we experienced make us love Tuscany all the more!
• Guided City Tour of Florence: Louise had flawless English and was super knowledgeable about the art and architecture of Florence. She was a pleasure to spend the day with and our time with her flew by. In addition to sharing her keen insights on Florence, she gave Zack good tips on his other European travels and she also recommended a great restaurant for us to try for dinner and even made our reservation for us!
• Guided Tour of Sienna, Monteriggioni and San Gimignano with driver: We throughly loved the locations we visited on this day. In Sienna we got to see and understand not just the important religious history, but their rich cultural history as well as learning about their Palio di Siena. Our driver also recommended that we enjoy lunch at a winery and selected one that was so picturesque and was a delightful experience overall. Our guide, Chiarra, was very knowledgable and had pretty good English skills (though at times she was soft spoken which made understanding her a bit hard). I’m not sure I have ever seen a guide with the kind of pride that she had in her home town (Sienna). It was really fun to learn about the town through her eyes.
• Car Service: Tuscany Luxury was superb. All but one of our trips were handled by Massimo, who became not just a driver but a friend by the end of the trip. He was a good conversationalist, and he seemed to be right there no matter where we were in a given city when my wife’s knees gave out and she couldn’t walk any more. He would dutifully shuttle her from one place to the next while the rest of us walked. He was the best. He mentioned that they were a relatively new service…I definitely would encourage you to keep using them. They were top-notch in every single way.
Venice
• Hotel: Nice hotel, decent location, simple but spacious room, comfortable beds, great breakfast spread, very friendly and helpful front desk & concierge staff
• Bacari & Cicheti Tour: Our tour guide for this tour, Barbara, was our very favorite of the entire trip. She was absolutely lovely with flawless English and an incredibly warm personality. She seemed as interested in getting to know us as she was in sharing the foods and culture of Venice with us – which was a perfect mix for the kind of tour we were on. The time with her flew by and we found ourselves sad that we had to say goodbye. The tour itself was also really interesting and not only helped us to see Venice, but also to experience it the way the locals do when going out. Definitely recommend this tour to others!
• Venice City Tour: This tour guide, another Barbara, was very efficient. She had good English, was knowledgeable, and was clearly a specialist in art and architecture of Venice. She asked what we were interested in seeing at the beginning, which I appreciated, because this was the only tour that ended precisely at the stroke of 3 hours. In retrospect, it was evident that she was rushing us through St. Mark’s so that we could be outside in order for her to end the tour right at the prescribed time. I would have rather she told us in the cathedral that our time had come to an end and let us continue exploring the church. Once we were outside we couldn’t get back in and there were parts of it we didn’t see.
• Gondola Ride: This was planned for a perfect location, very close to the hotel.
Milan
• Transportation: While we never noticed it as we were reviewing the itinerary, it felt odd that we had transportation to/from train stations/airports arranged for every leg except Milan. While we made do quite easily, it just felt like something was missing from this last leg when we were arranging these things personally. In hindsight, I’d have had you arrange them even if they would have been a bit more expensive.
• Hotel: This was the strangest hotel I have ever stayed in in my entire life. First, there’s only a very small sign on the outside which identifies it as a hotel. The cab driver basically dropped us on the street and told us “it’s here somewhere” since he couldn’t find it either. We ended up having to call the hotel for help only to find that we were literally standing in front of it but the signage was so small we didn’t know. Second…the hotel is a couple floors of an otherwise occupied building.
• City Tour: we had Maria, she was lovely and was a tremendous guide to the Duomo. She used the Duomo to teach us not just about the Duomo itself but also about Milan and its history. That was good because by the time we got done with the Duomo It was 5:45 and we didn’t have time to do anything else. She did walk with us to the Gallery since that was on the way back to our hotel, but unfortunately we couldn’t extend the tour much beyond 6:00 even though it started so late because we had dinner reservations to prepare for. We missed the opportunity to explore the Sforza Castle and Parco Sempione, and/or to visit the Basilica di Sant’Ambrogio.
Again, this was a wonderful trip that we will have fond memories of forever. Thank you so much for what clearly was a LOT of work in preparing such a great itinerary. We really appreciated your efforts. Thanks also for being so available via WhatsApp while we were on the trip as well, that felt like a great safety blanket for us.

Good morning! ☀ We just got on our train, I’m so sad to be leaving Venice but excited for our next stop .
Just wanted to let you know when we got dropped off by the water taxi it was AT our hotel when we arrived so we knew we’d be picked up another spot per your instructions, however our itinerary says to be picked up in front of the Metropole Hotel but we actually had to go through the lobby of the hotel and get picked up on the side. It was a little different than your instruction – just wanted to tell you, more for future travelers to know. When we got there we saw our taxi taking off with other people so we had to call the company again for another number, they apologized for the mistake and another one arrived shortly
….
Thank you, this trip has been so wonderful so far! I feel like we’re seeing the best of the areas in our short time with the tours you scheduled for us and both the hotels have been lovely. And the transportation between has been so easy to follow!
We have had an amazing time, no discomfort. I wasn’t telling you about the water taxi spot to complain, please know that – I just wanted you to be aware for future travelers. It wasn’t that big of a deal, I just thought you’d like to know-plus, I knew I’d forget to mention it if I waited because there’s so many other things going on 😊
Loving Venice!!! The two tours, with the two Barbara’s were so much more than we could hova hoped for! Absolutely amazing!! We had so much fun with the first one and the second one showed us some amazing places anf gave us a lot of information. They were probably the two most perfect tours we could have imagined!
….
So we will be in Tuscany at the same time?! How exciting! We are very excited to celebrate both our birthday’s in Tuscany!!!
….
Good morning! Thank you! Everything is going well, we just got checked into our hotel in Florence and are heading out to explore shortly. We LOVED Cortona! Our hotel and the staff was so lovely! We had dinner at Al Tocco last night and it was delicious! (…..)

Venice was great, we appreciated spending 3 days here and having “free” time to wonder around. Visited Murano as well, that was interesting! Good food, specially the “cicheti“! Guides were all outstanding. Hotel is also very nice! Many tourists, but all bunched up at the same places. As soon as you get away from San Marco and Rialto bridge it get very easy to go around. Nonetheless we appreciated our guided tour of San Marco and the palace of the Doge this morning, even if we had to push the crowd a little!
Thanks again for organizing this nice trip for us!
Yes, our trip is already to an end, although we are happy to go back home, it is not without some nostalgia to leave Italy 🇮🇹 behind!

33 days through Prosecco region, Venice, Bologna, Cinque Terre, Val d’Orcia, Rome, Sorrento, Positano & Capri – September 2023
I just sent a few pictures of the last few days of our trip. The first batch are of Capri. The boat trip was so beautiful. Out of any tour in Capri I would recommend that one with that guide. He showed us so much and knew so much. It was stunning. The water so clear.
I loved Capri!!!! Fortunately we missed the cruise ships.
The weather was perfect until the day we left.
About the last hotel….. I would recommend everyone to end their holiday at such a place. After all the travel and people and hussle and bussle what a way to end the trip. When we arrived I just went Wow! We stayed in some beautiful places thanks to you, but that place was it for me. The place just oozed calm and peace. We loved the appetizers at 5:00. The food was great. Then we walked around the grounds. They were stunning.
Then some time in the pools.
Supper was really good as well. They had a shuttle to the airport which was wonderful that we didn’t have to worry about a taxi.
You mentioned a survey we haven’t record anything. We will keep watching.
I just want you to know out of all the places and things we have done this trip exceeded anything I dreamed of, All my adult life I have wanted to come back to Italy. I couldn’t have had this amazing trip without you. I have told so many people in our travels about you.
Given out your email address so many times.
I know I have said how much I appreciated you but you just have no idea!!! Thank you again for my trip a lifetime.

Imagine the best vacation of your life, and then make it even better! This is what we experienced on our trip to Italy arranged by Alessandra Magi, the owner of 20 Regions of Italy travel agency.
We started planning this vacation with her 18 months ahead of time to make sure we could gain entry to some very special limited venues. Alessandra’s diligence gained us entry to see the floor of the Siena Cathedral as well as two previously never opened rooms at the Vatican. Wow!
We asked her to arrange private guides for each location so that we would learn as much as possible and not miss a thing. These guides were so talented, knowledgeable and friendly that we want to sing their praises individually. In Florence, Signora Alessandra educated us in the history and drama of the Medici family and the early days of Florence as a budding republic. In Siena and San Gimignano, Signora Chiara enthralled us with her personal knowledge of history and enchanted us with her tireless enthusiasm for all things Palio.
In Rome, both Signora Maria Paola and Signora Giovanna were a treasure trove of fabulous tidbits about the ancients and utterly willing to tackle our seemingly endless questions about everything. Thanks to these two amazing women we learned about a secret Colosseum graffito
and a fabulous beer pub.
As we continued our journey south, we were met by Signor Vincenzo to visit Ercolano and Pompeii. Even as we listened to his stories of that tragic day, he managed to brighten things up by showing us the back entrance to the bordello where we could “read the menu” of special services available. And last, but not least, we met Signor Angelo in the unforgettable city of Paestum. His professorial knowledge of this ancient city and its ruins gave us goose bumps.
Finally, not to be forgotten, were our drivers. They all put up with crazy early and long hours of taking us from one incredible place to another. Each, in turn, also acted as a guide as we wound our way from Florence, to Rome, and finally to Sorrento. They also kindly allowed us
to Bluetooth our classic rock play lists through their vans.
We have been to Italy before more than once, but this is the trip that we will remember thanks to the best travel agent we could have hoped for.
Signora Alessandra Magi made our dreams come true.

Bonjour Arianna,

Alessandra,
I wanted to send you a note regarding our trip to Italy. We had a wonderful trip (despite the weather at first). The hotels were so nice and located in convenient areas. All of our guides were very helpful and friendly, and really informative. We learned a lot, and also had good interactions with all of them.
Our drivers were also really great. Professional, informative, and so helpful. Alberto, in Tuscany actually saved our lives! Someone was passing another car around a curve, and Albertos quick thinking saved the day. We had a great time with him at the wineries and lunch.
Everywhere people were so helpful and friendly. It was a busy and tiring trip, but we have great memories. Denise kept telling me what a great idea it was to do this, and we all agreed!
Grazie from all of us!

My husband and I just returned home from our dream trip to Italy. Big big thanks to Stefania at 20 Regions of Italy for planning and coordinating our adventures! I’m always the travel planner and take many trips, so I was hesitant to let go, but I knew I needed help with this one.
This was the first time using a Travel Local partner and I am so impressed. It was as if Stefania knew exactly what I was envisioning. We had a jammed packed 15 days stopping in Venice, Florence, Sarteano, Naples, Sorrento and Rome. She expertly coordinated the hotels, all of which were in a central location, our drivers, trains and guides. Everyone was punctual, fluent in English and very knowledgeable. We loved the tours she chose for us and truly enjoyed each day. All the travel from one place to the next was so smooth, we couldn’t believe it! I cannot recommend Stefania enough! If you’re even considering a trip, just do it! We are so thankful and fortunate to have made this trip and will cherish the memories. 🇮🇹 🍝 🍕 🍷 💕
