Marche

Marche is a region in the center of Italy, wonderful and unusual at the same time, for the diversity of its landscape and territory: harmonious and sinuous shapes, cliffs and caves alternating with unforgettable beaches, hills that evoke history, tradition, art and mountains equipped with facilities for ski enthusiasts.

In this region nature has the leading role. For those who love unspoiled landscapes and the sea, the Conero seashore offers evocative views and still-wild areas, sometimes reachable  only via sea or through the trails cut into the green of the Mediterranean scrub.

There are a lot of national and regional parks, as well as a WWF oasis to discover; the national park of the Monti Sibillini and Monti della Laga offer an unique show for the trekking enthusiasts. You can’t miss a destination for travellers from all over the Europe, the Frasassi cave – of great speleological interest for the karst phenomenon that created splendid caves, some of which inhabited since prehistoric times.

Expanses of orchards and vineyards on the picentes hills and on the Esino Valley, are the setting for ancient farmhouses where it’s possible to rediscover the simple taste of the natural things.

Noble dwellings or old sharecropping houses used as holiday farms, tell the life of the past, while welcoming travelers and tourists looking for authentic emotions.
