Toscana

Tuscany, located in the central Italy, owes its name to the Latins who called the region “Etruria”, land of the Etruscan, which then became “Tuscia” and lastly Toscana.

Its territory is mostly a masterpiece of landscape art, hosting cities and villages of beauty beyond measure such as Florence, its capital, or Pisa, Siena, San Gimignano, Saturnia, Montecatini and many others. Florence, described as one of the most beautiful city in the world, win the heart and the eyes with its marvels of Renaissance architecture. For centuries it was the literary and artistic cradle of illustrious names such as Dante, Brunelleschi and Michelangelo, among others, who create some amazing works, studied and envied by the whole world. It was also the homeland of the Italian language.

However, Toscana is not just art and landscapes: just as much incredible is its food and wine tradition, exported all over the world under the brands of Chianti, Brunello and Montalcino, typical wines of the area.
