A private car will drive you through the verdant hills of Prosecco Road, where more than three dozen, family-run wineries produce the delicious wine that made this area popular worldwide.
You’ll be their personal guest, touring the estates and tasting local wines that are going to delight your palate. Through this experience you will begin to recognize and compare Prosecco’s many varieties and styles. With a delicious lunch, you’ll be initiated to typical products and local specialties.

Soave and Valpolicella

From the ancient town of Soave, whose castle-fortress dates back to the 10th century, this tour will take you through the Valpolicella region, known for its red grape varieties such as Amarone and Recioto. A morning visit to the first local winery will introduce you to these wines. A tasty typical lunch will be followed by a visit to the second winery. While sipping wine and tasting local products, you will learn about the different winemaking techniques. This Wine Road is immersed in the enchanting scenery of the Colli Euganei Regional Park, whose landscape is a succession of perfectly geometrical vineyards, Medieval villages and castles, Renaissance villas and patrician homes, along with churches, monasteries and hermitages still inhabited by Benedictine and Camaldolese monks.
Strolling from hill to hill, you will be warmly welcomed to farms and vineyards for pleasant wine tastings and detailed explanations of the wine-making process. A typical lunch will be held in a local restaurant. On the way back you’ll be driven by car along Brenta Canal where, starting in the 16th century, magnificent villas were built by Venetian nobility.
