Have you ever seen the Enrosadira?

Enrosadira is a breathtaking natural phenomenon that occurs in the Dolomite Mountains. The term comes from the Ladin language, meaning “to become pink” or “turning rose-colored.” It describes the spectacular moment at sunrise and sunset when the pale limestone peaks of the Dolomites transform into vivid shades of pink, orange, red, and purple. This magical effect happens when sunlight strikes the rock’s unique mineral composition. The display typically lasts only 10-15 minutes, creating an ethereal, almost supernatural glow across the mountain range. Enrosadira is considered one of the most photographed natural spectacles in the Alps and holds special significance in local Ladin folklore, where legends attribute the phenomenon to enchanted dwarf kingdoms within the mountains.

Witnessing enrosadira is a bucket-list experience for photographers, hikers, and nature enthusiasts visiting the Dolomites.

Come and experience this spectacular event in beautiful natural surroundings.

A new era is about to begin for the Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games. Mark your calendars for February 6, 2026. On that day, the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Opening Ceremony, produced by Balich Wonder Studio at San Siro Stadium (Milano San Siro Olympic Stadium), will aim to bring a fresh dimension to this major global celebration.
The festivities won’t be confined to the show inside the venue named after legendary player Giuseppe Meazza. Throughout the same day, celebrations and symbolic moments will unfold across the city and throughout the Olympic territories. The mission is clear: to spread the Olympic spirit beyond the stadium walls, making spectators, athletes, and competitors an integral part of this grand celebration.

The Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics will bring a groundbreaking twist to two cherished traditions: the lighting and extinguishing of the Olympic flame. These iconic moments, representing unity, global brotherhood, and the universal spirit of athletics, will be amplified in an unprecedented way.

For the first time ever, there will be two Olympic cauldrons: one located in Milan at the Arch of Peace, an emblematic city landmark and the other situated in Cortina d’Ampezzo at Piazza Dibona, the heart of this mountain resort.

This extended invitation and shared embrace will showcase Italy’s distinctive character and its renowned craftsmanship, blending the Olympic venues and the Alpine landscape with metropolitan energy, all in the name of sportsmanship, peace, and solidarity among nations. It’s a chance to inspire younger generations and collectively build a brighter tomorrow where heritage meets innovation, allowing the Olympic spirit to reach every corner of the region.

If you’d like to experience this extraordinary event with us – one that will make February 2026 unforgettable for all Italians and those who wish to share in the emotions and magic of the Olympic spirit – the 20 Regions of Italy team is ready to plan a special stay for you in the Olympic venues and beyond!

Wine and Villas for an unforgettable day

Your guide will meet you  to take you on a tour of the area’s beautiful Palladian villas, with a delicious stop at a winery for a Prosecco tasting (2-3 wines) accompanied by appetizers.

The Palladian Villas are magnificent Renaissance estates designed by architect Andrea Palladio in the Veneto region during the 16th century. These architectural masterpieces showcase perfect symmetry, classical proportions, and harmonious integration with their surroundings. UNESCO recognizes them as World Heritage Sites for their influential neoclassical style that inspired buildings worldwide, including the White House.

The region is renowned for its exceptional wines like Soave, a crisp white wine, and robust reds from the Colli Berici and Gambellara areas. Local varieties include Garganega, Tai Rosso, and Durella grapes, creating distinctive flavors reflecting the volcanic and limestone-rich soils. Wine routes wind through picturesque vineyards, offering tastings at family-owned wineries and estates, often near historic Palladian villas, creating unforgettable culinary and cultural experiences.
